Waiheke Island

Waiheke Island, New Zealand, 17 February 2008

Waiheke Island is a quiet tropical paradise in the Hauraki Gulf with a permanent population of around 7,000 people. We took the ferry accross and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon walking to Church Bay en route stoping to speak with the friendly locals including Ross of the infamous "Ross Sea Kayaks".

I've found the highlight of your trip!!! It’s your "long face" gag at the horse photo!

It’s superb, original and witty. Everything a gag should be.

Its comedy like this that will ensure this blog achieves legendary status. You would be as well coming home now, because no matter what you see or achieve over the coming months of travel, nothing will ever hit the heights of the now famous “horsey gag.”

More jokes! Especially about animals! I just can’t get enough of them.

Oh, how my sides hurt.
